With a dramatic coat of paint, the architect couple Johan and Gardiol Bergenthuin have reinforced the main design concept of their Gordon’s Bay holiday home: that of go-between for mountain, sea and sky.
Deciding to repaint the central part of their holiday home in intense blue was based on a love for richness and vibrancy. The couple went ahead and chose a colour known as Azul Colonial, even though estate agents warned them brightly coloured houses don’t sell.
