WORDS Michaela Stehr IMAGES Studio Jantzen
US architect Christof Jantzen decided to design easily constructible, pre-fabricated classrooms after seeing the state of his children’s temporary learning spaces.
The concept behind the Mobile Classrooms is that they are a cost-efficient “kit of parts” that schools can easily assemble. The design sees the classrooms receiving more natural light and are of a higher quality material than a standard pre-fab classroom.
These modern wooden units are constructed from renewable material and pose no health risks to children, unlike material used in other temporary units.
Good idea!
