Smart Idea: Custom Lights

Why not try your hand at home-made decorations this festive season? These sweet string lights are super easy to make and cost next to nothing.

You will need:

Scraps of material

Wood glue

Clear plastic cups

Scissors

String of fairy lights

What to do:

Use scissors to slice a small X shape in the bottom of the plastic cups. Cut strips of material and cover in a light layer of wood glue. Place material around the exterior of the cup. Repeat for each cup. Once the glue has dried, pop the little bulbs through the X shape of each cup.
