Heather Moore, the terrifically talented designer behind Skinny La Minx, has updated her storefront in time for Valentine’s Day, decorating the windows of her 201 Bree Street store with an intricate papercut design rendered in vinyl.

With the most romantic day of the year just a week away, Heather has also added Valentine’s messages to all and sundry, “but most particularly to my customers,” she says. Inside the store, her trademark ‘youmakemesmile’ message has been lasercut to create Valentine’s pop-up card, a perfectly non-threatening way of saying ‘you’re special’ to someone important on your life, and guaranteed to raise a smile too. Also in the shop this week are some very limited edition ceramic mugs along a Valentine’s Day theme.

This year it might be worth foregoing the standard chocolate and flowers in favour of something personal and beautifully designed with individuality in mind. Whether buying online or in store, Skinny La Minx certainly has plenty to offer.
