When degrees in computer science and civil engineering failed to captivate his ingenuity, Pierre Cronje stepped back into the carpentry workshop to fulfill his childhood dream.
And what a workshop it is, as VISI discovered when we stepped in to see the designer’s new Simply Pierre range. The furniture in this collection is made from solid French oak, yellowwood and European ash – all bought through timber merchants from forests harvested according to the control measures that govern northern hemisphere tree felling.
