Setamono Tableware specialises in handmade Japanese artisanal ceramics sourced from small Japanese cottage factories.
No two pieces are the same, bringing an element of individuality to the table. This bespoke crockery can be found at the tables of renowned South African restaurants such as The Test Kitchen, La Colombe, The Shortmarket Club, The Greenhouse, Chef’s Warehouse, Beau Constantia and Thali.
The curves, textures, glazes and colours used are synonymous with the Japanese way of pottery and ceramics, making them a stand out feature for any table setting. The collection offers a vast variety of plates, bowls, ramekins and flasks with a strong aesthetic and functional appeal.
Established in September 2015, Setamono previously focused on trade customers, but is now available to the aspiring home chef, entertainer and decor enthusiast.
