We’re all for adding on to great design, a perfect example is Barcelona based designer Mario Ruiz’s SOUNDWAVE for Swedish company Offecct.
The original acoustic panels proved very popular on the market so Mario says it made sense to extend the design to create more functional environments.
Now, the SHELF, flower box PLANTER and SCREEN can be incorporated, creating a functional design that looks good too.
SHELF is a shelf that fits perfectly with Offecct’s selection of acoustic panels and offers the possibility to create SOUNDWAVE interiors containing shelves for storage of books and other objects.
PLANTER is an O2ASIS inspired flower box that in addition to functioning together with the SOUNDWAVE system also provides the opportunity to add greenery to public and private environments. O2ASIS is a selection of design products that together with flowers and plants increase and add value to interiors.
SCREEN is a white magnetic glass board that also includes a manual projection screen. By integrating SCREEN in the SOUNDWAVE system the usefulness of SOUNDWAVE in contemporary interiors increases.
By incorporating the SOUNDWAVE system into an interior noise is reduced, oxygen increases, presentations can be projected on the screen and bits and bobs can be put on display away. That’s a quadruple whammy of functional design. Nice.
