1. Vhils Mural
Street artist and muralist Alexandre Farto, aka Vhils, has completed a large-scale piece at the University Hospital Centre of São João in Porto, Portugal, paying tribute to Portugal’s National Health Service and health professionals. The 10 faces featured on the wall represent healthcare workers from all fields at the hospital and aims to highlight their selfless work and care for the public.

2. Herding Cats Puzzle by Nervous System
Herding Cats by design studio Nervous System is a wooden jigsaw puzzle comprised of 224 cat-shaped pieces that altogether make up one big cat. From fluffy cats and jumping cats to sleeping cats and washing cats, each piece is based on a photograph of a real cat submitted via Twitter. The giant technicolour artwork for the final completed puzzle was created by Anne Sullivan.

3. Litli Ulfur’s Embroideries
Using needle and thread on linen and inspired by the connection she feels to nature, embroidery artist Litli Ulfur creates intricate works of art featuring aerial views of dense forests.

4. Lorenzo Nassimbeni’s Window to Calm Drawings
Joburg-based architect and artist Lorenzo Nassimbeni’s #windowtocalm series is a continuous portfolio of work in response to the current global pandemic. The artworks aim to inspire introspection and reflection during a time where the need for compassion and a sense of community is paramount. 10% of the sale of each artwork will go towards a charity of the buyer’s choice.

5. Custom Pastel Blue and Burnished Brass Kitchen by Officine Gullo
This custom-made kitchen, created by international kitchen brand Officine Gullo for a private project in Portugal, features accents of burnished brass and a pastel blue palette inspired by azulejos (painted ceramic tiles).
