Colorado-based artist Tiffany Miller Russell creates intricate paper sculptures of wild animals.

She has mastered the art over the course of 15 years and begins each piece by starting with a detailed illustration, which she then uses as a base for her folded tactile works.

These 3D collages pack a textural punch, perfectly capturing the representation of feathers or scales.

To understand her subject matter, Tiffany volunteered in a zoology prep lab and a paleontology lab, so she could fully grasp every detail of the animals she recreates.
