WORDS Mary Garner
Riki Fukuda, aka Kiri Ken, is a Japanese paper artist who, with simple utensils, creates intricate paper reptiles, sea animals and botanical works of art.
Using a cutting mat, paper and a sharp blade, Riki, who we previously featured here, starts the process by creating pencil sketches, before meticulously cutting them out to complete the final piece.
More recently, Riki has been producing smaller art works, playing around with holographic paper.
