PANTONE has released its new Colour of the Year for 2020, a calming shade of blue that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue is a colour that is both relatable and comforting. The colour brand describes the tone as “a reassuring presence instilling calm, confidence and connection”. The cobalt-inspired shade imitates the night sky at twilight and is described by Executive Director of PANTONE, Leatrice Eiseman, as a solid and dependable hue that is reliable in graphic design, decor, fashion and beauty.
The colour works well in decor schemes, used in furniture, or as a statement feature wall colour.
