Online shoppers, take note: Heather Moore of Skinny laMinx has just opened her first local online store, exclusively for South African shoppers.

Fans of the brand are now able to order their favourite items from her full range of products at www.shop.skinnylaminx.com.

Heather started out four years ago and has successfully cultivated a devoted following both locally and abroad.

The Skinny laMinx style is clean and clear, with a broad appeal. “There’s a feeling of Scandinavian simplicity, pared-down Japanese restraint, and South African exuberance all rolled into one fresh and distinctive style,” Heather says.

The brand offers a range of beautifully designed products. Textile items include cushions, shopping bags, handbags, table runners, napkins, tea towels, smock dresses for toddlers, and purses. Fabrics are also sold by the metre, while Heather’s stationery products include letterpressed cards, lasercut decorative cards, gift tags and magnets. Skinny laMinx ceramics and limited-edition artwork prints are also available.

While Heather has been selling her stock globally via Etsy.com for a while now, this is the first time she’s ventured into selling her products via her own local online store. Note that she also has a shop inside the Cape Town Silk & Cotton Co. showroom, which stocks Skinny laMinx textile products, yardage, stationery and ceramics.
