It seems there’s always a throng of covet-worthy new design items filling the Okha store. And this week is no different.
A selection of the latest exclusive and contemporary furniture pieces and accessories at Okha further proves how the brand sets a new standard in African design. With their fingers on the pulse of the cutting-edge, they continue to pioneer the concept of African luxury across a wide range of unique furniture and decor products.
We seriously had to restrain ourselves, picking only a few of our top pieces from the store. May we present our favourites …
The Artist’s Armchair is inspired by the svelte, rakish lines of retro automobiles. Its compact design elegantly cocoons the sitter while the bright colours provide some flair.
Like slanted streams of black rain, the sliced and layered forms of the Black Rain Mirror, meanwhile, transform a mere mirror into a dynamic sculptural art form.
Then there’s the Curator Sofa which creative director of Okha, Adam Court, describes as “a salon sofa, rigorously sculpted, modern in stance with a distinctly classical heritage”. A perfect description for this unusual but beautiful couch.
Finally, De Riguour’s Standing Lamp elegantly unifies two worlds: the organic and the geometric, establishing an aesthetic new order. Available in black or white, this beauty is sure to shed some designer light on any situation.
