NOVA Mobile Office Pod by Work & Co

Cape Town-based collaborative workspace Work & Co, previously featured here, has launched the first off-grid mobile office pod in South Africa.

Called NOVA, the mobile edition follows the same principles as Work & Co: to provide a well-designed working space for users to be as productive as possible. The team behind NOVA, namely Julian Verspieren and Jolize Pienaar of Work & Co, were inspired by the “modern nomad worker”.

With an aim to create a functional, comfortable working environment, Julian and Jolize spent six months designing and building the pod, which makes use of solar-generated power. It features Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, Apple TV, printer, white board, Nespresso machine, fully stocked mini fridge, charging station, and a bathroom with running water.

How do you use the pod? Simply book it with a pre-selected location and a Work & Co chauffeur will collect you and your team and transfer you to your desired spot, from Signal Hill to the West Coast.
