An exhibition hosted by The Haas Design Collective entitled Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed opens this Friday at Kanon Artists Studios.
The Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed exhibition opens this Friday night, 8 April 2011 at 40 Dorp Street, Bo-Kaap and will feature a vast collection of contemporary South African art collected over many years by Kanon 21 artist Christiaan Diedericks.
Diedericks and his partner recently decided to embark on a year-long sojourn to India, the East and Europe in 2012. It is hoped that sales from this exhibition will partly fund this new exiting endeavour for the artist.
Works by prominent contemporary artists such as Christiaan Diedericks, Diane Victor, Judy Woodborne, Jonathan Comerford, Conrad Botes, Vasek Matousek, Shui-lyn White, Colijn Strydom and many more will be on display. All the works will be for sale at prices far below market value.
