New firsts in the floral business : Customers can choose how they would like their flowers to be arranged.
Isn’t the green rose in this picture simply exquisite? New Italian concept store Super Flower is making its debut at the Salon del Mobile in Milan next week, and VISI’s Annemarie Meintjes will be there to see the green bloom up close.
Super Flower offers a unique service with an entire “menu” of flowers, vases and accessories. You can then pick out exactly what you would like to include in your arrangement without scouring the florist. The fun is in the fact that you’ve got complete control.
Painstaking research went into categorising all the different types of blooms and accessories, but the company says it’s been well worth the effort. The concept was the brainchild of creative entrepreneur Vincenzon Dasacanio, who has twenty years’ experience in retail and floral art.
Super Flower hopes to grow outside of Italy, and have plans to open stores around the world soon. Sadly, they’re not in South Africa yet.
