A new upscale restaurant, bar and social hub will be opening on Camps Bay’s own Miami-like strip on Victoria Road this summer.

Successful French restaurateurs and proprietors of The 41, Bravo Gilles Blanc and Nicholas Da Costa, arrived in Cape Town in August last year and never left. Their passion for business, food and connecting with people inspired them to renovate the old Tuscany Beach and transform it into an elegant eatery that caters mostly for the local market and offers authentic South African cuisine with a touch of international “pizazz”.

The restaurant decor is trendy and chic yet comfortable, with a focus on minimalist interiors so as to ensure that all 160 diners can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the breathtaking Camps Bay scene through extensive glass doors and tiered dining levels.

The kitchen is headed by international award-winning chef Aristotle Ragavelas. “We want to offer a real food experience, using the best African products available to create our special menu that will constantly surprise our diners,” he says.

The vision of The 41, which is set to open in October 2016, is to welcome all Capetonians to Camps Bay to enjoy unique food, cocktails, entertainment and events in a picturesque setting like no other.
