Having worked with Cape Aloe for over 30 years, local brand Anara made a chance discovery that the use of its formulated gel, when topically applied, helped to alleviate hot flushes and night sweats, two of the symptoms associated with menopause.
This brought about the idea to launch a range of products specifically for women and the various intimate moments of womanhood.
Anara’s objective is to formulate top-quality, natural products, sourcing and using only those ingredients that fit its safety and efficacy standards. All active ingredients found across the extensively tested range are included for a specific therapeutic reason.
“We believe that nature knows best – that is why what we leave out of our products is just as important as what we put it in – pure and sustainable ingredients with no harmful additives,” states the brand.
Every woman will experience changes in different ways. For Anara, it is important to provide the tools to navigate these changes, “to age well, the way we intend to, rather than how we are told to”.
While the brand’s first products are based on the menopausal phase, it is currently developing a broader range.
