Mr Big Stuff Restaurant in Joburg

A super cute new restaurant has opened in the heart of Joburg’s hip Braamfontein.

“We tried to come up with a fun way to represent a diner/take-away joint,” says co-owner Angie Durrant. “We wanted it to look like something you would find in Japan, something different and quirky.”

Smiling wallpaper by Daniel Ting Chong adds to the charm, complemented by pale wooden booths with pastel accents, designed by Doug Bower.

Expect comforting diner food like scrumptious fried chicken, waffles, mac and cheese burgers and disco fries.
