Mexicano soap

Joburg-based graphic designer Fiona Goldthorpe has just released a great new range of handmade soap, in collaboration with local company “Natures Skin Food”. Inspired by the Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ theme, these fun soaps reflect the current trend for folk and tribal infused design. 

The initial manufacturing process was testing at times, says Fiona. Besides perfecting the laser cutting and silicone moulding, she was adamant that only 100% natural, vegan friendly ingredients be used. The final product contains only essential oils and no synthetic fragrance, making the soaps suitable for all skin types.

The 3 final variants available are:

Activated charcoal (black) – with detoxifying properties

Crushed Peal (white) with lemongrass oil – made from real crushed pearls from Thailand. Great for soothing the skin and with anti-aging properties.

Asian Tree Bark with eucalyptus and spearmint oil – especially good for healing problem skin conditions.

To come soon are Buckwheat Leaf and Cacao variants.
