Local furniture and homeware brand Popstrukt has collaborated with design studio Lulasclan on a limited edition collection to celebrate Women’s Month.
The limited edition collection combines Popstrukt‘s expertise in functional design with Lulasclan‘s creative vision, resulting in three pieces that are both practical and visually stunning.
Lulasclan, founded by Bonolo Chepape, is rooted in collaboration and community. The brand is known for producing unique textile installations and experiential pop-ups that highlight its innovative approach to design.
The collaboration between Popstrukt and Lulasclan was born at Decorex Cape Town during the Future Talks 2024 programme. “VISI’s mission is to celebrate the incredible design talent we have in South Africa, and to witness the origin of this collab happen during our Future Talks panel discussions was such a privilege. To be able to connect these super-talented designers and see their collab become a reality in such a short space of time gave me goosebumps,” says Steve Smith, VISI’s editor-in-chief.
The collection features three Popstrukt units, each with a signature Lulasclan print. These prints are inspired by the rich cultural heritage and contemporary art scene of South Africa, making each piece a unique addition to any home.
By bringing together two distinct yet complementary brands, this partnership highlights the strength and diversity of local talent. It also allows fans of both brands to come together and appreciate the beauty of South African design.
Pre-orders are open until 31 August, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to own one of these pieces from this limited edition collection available via Popstrukt. These units are intended for indoor use only. | popstrukt.com
