Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake has blurred the lines between fashion and decor in this sleek homeware collaboration with Finnish brand Iittala.
Issey Miyake’s signature pleats can be seen in the Pause For Harmony collection’s origami-style cushions, napkins, placemats, coasters, table runners and tote bags, all of which keep their unique shape after being washed.
The Pause For Harmony range also includes high quality ceramic platters in geometric and pentagonal shapes, mirroring the movement seen in the fabrics. Sophisticated glass vases complete the collection.
Merging the traditions of Asia and Scandinavia, the line has been under production for over four years and boasts 30 individual pieces.
The Pause For Harmony collection is available via the MoMa Design Store in New York.
