Located in a historic, typically Parisian building just outside the walls of the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery, you’ll find the contemporary home of designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance.

For Noé, who grew up in the countryside of Brittany, incorporating nature into his home was integral. The apartment, which has been designed with modularity top of mind, explores Noé’s use of nature-inspired shapes and designs.

“This house is breathing,” says Noé. “It has to be alive. It has to breathe, otherwise it’s just a museum where you can’t really live.”

Watch the video above, directed by Max Hemmings, for a look inside this sophisticated and serene home.
