HOT TEA’s Painted Pool

Minnesota-based street artist HOT TEA transformed an old swimming pool into a vibrant feast of colour.

He was commissioned by K&CO and Pliskin Architecture to revamp the existing pool into a bright and enticing space.

HOT TEA titled the project Asylum, due to the fact that not only did the area once house the New York Metropolitan Asylum, the project also required intense physical and mental endurance to complete.

Approximately 120 gallons of paint was used to bring the swimming pool area to life.
