Our Durban correspondent, Georgia Chennells shares her highlights from Decorex Durban Reel, held this past weekend.
Decorex Durban, the annual decor, design and lifestyle show, was held at the Durban Exhibition Centre this past weekend. Throngs of designers, families and home-renovators flocked to the event for the display of local talent, products and inspiration.
Included in the expo was an interior designers showcase, various artists and craftspeoples’ wares, furniture, decor, kitchenware, and an array of green products and services. Foodies were well catered for with a vast selection of foods, a boutique wine bar, brandy cocktail “cellar”, coffee bars and the Afro’s food truck (read our feature here ).
Also on show was a schedule of interactive displays from cookery demonstrations to creative entrepreneurial-themed workshops.
