Hemmesphere Designer Lighting Now In SA

Designer lighting brand Hemmesphere, from Massow Designs, has officially launched in South Africa. The collection consists of a series of wooden frames inspired by Japanese designs and shadow-play.

This UK-based bespoke lighting company is owned by Barend Massow Hemmes. His creations are heavily influenced by his time spent as an interior designer, combining functionality and aesthetics to create timeless and stylish pieces.

Either ceiling or wall-mounted, Hemmesphere aims to create pieces to suit individual clients’ needs with an option to customise.

“With an ethos built on the idea of play, where the customer feels compelled to experiment with what the light can unveil, Hemmesphere works with its client base of home-owners, decorators and designers to ensure that any spatial requirements can be met using one of the brand’s unique and immediately recognisable lighting designs,” the brand explains.
