GUILD International Design Fair 2015

WORDS Tracy Greenwood

Designs by international artists and galleries from all over the globe will be at this year’s GUILD international design fair.

The second instalment of GUILD promises to be bigger and better than ever. Highlights of this year’s fair include a custom-made pavilion by Stefan Antoni Associates, guided tours by fair director Trevyn McGowan and ‘Afreaks’, and a collaboration between LA-based Haas Brothers, Monkeybiz and Bronze Age Foundry, which consists of oversized animal forms with fun celebrity-inspired names such as Tail-lor Swift and Al Gor-illa. Find out more about this year’s exciting collaborations right here.

It’s on at the Lookout at the V&A Waterfront from 25 February to 1 March 2015.  On Wednesday the 25th, the fair will be open from 10am until 4pm. From Thursday the 26th until Saturday the 28th, you’ll be able to browse from 10am until 8pm and on Sunday from 10am until 6pm.

Tickets cost R80 per person (R50 for students and pensioners, free for children under the age of 12) and are available from Computicket.
