This surreal furniture collection is a beautiful ode to the edges of the Nooksack River that twists beneath designer Greg Klassen’s studio.

Inspired by the trees that grow in the Pacific Northwest in the US, the natural appearance of a river bed and topographical images of nature, the designs are made up of indigo glass that closely resembles water, while the winding river bed (which also looks like a mountain range) is represented by carved wood.

The River Collection is just one of the ranges created by this skilled wood worker. Greg’s work is artistic, but also functional and the furniture pieces themselves can stand as individual centrepieces.
