As the 2012 South African media partner, VISI is keeping local designers and readers in the know. If you’ve designed a restaurant or bar with great atmosphere, interesting and thoughtful decor, and attention to detail over the past year, then enter the annual Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.
Does my project qualify?
All work completed between 1 January and 31 December 2011 is eligible and all entries must be done in collaboration with the restaurant or bar operator and designer. The awards are split into projects located within the United Kingdom and international projects with an array of sub-categories.
Good news for South African designers working locally is that there are categories for the Best Restaurant and the Best Bar in the Middle East and Africa. The mammoth task of judging will fall to an influential panel of 20 design, lifestyle and hospitality personalities from a variety of creative backgrounds around the world. Don’t miss the chance for international acclaim – enter before 13 April 2012.
