A couple of years ago, two friends decided to make their vision of creating a business that sells premium handmade leather ties into a reality; and so WEEF was born.

Founders Dévan and Patrick have a firm belief that leather is a timeless fashion classic. The difference between them and other leather craftsmen is that they exclusively make ties, or rather bold statement pieces born out of passion, love and attention to detail. At WEEF, they pride themselves on creating artisan ties using only responsibly sourced leather that comes from sustainable South African suppliers.

WEEF, showcased this year as a Design Indaba Emerging Creative, designs each tie in house, all of which boast a stylish finish. The ties are available in the following colours: Charlie Brown, Pepper Grey, Matt Black, Oxblood Red, Deep Navy and Cognac Tan.
