Designers We Love: Charles Young

WORDS Michaela Stehr IMAGES paperholm.com

Edinburgh-based paper master is creating a 3D miniature cityscape.

We’ve been noticing a lot of tiny art lately, and the delicate work of Charles Young definitely caught VISI’s attention. Every day Charles constructs a small white architectural structure from paper to add to his small-scale town.

From windmills to water towers, this tiny city has all the makings of a “real” city, some buildings even with moving parts. Each structure is erected on its own base of either wood or stone.
