Designer wine labels

It’s what’s on the inside and the outside that counts when it comes to Wedderwill’s earth-friendly wines.

Wedderwill – so named for the fact that the label’s wines are shaped by “the will of the weather” – recently released their more affordable entry-level 12ºC white blend and 17ºC red blend to support their fine Sauvignon Blanc, Bordeaux Blend and Syrah.

Situated on the slopes of the Schapenberg, the farm’s south-facing vineyards brave the passing winds, hot African sun and turbulent storms, resulting in a range of wines of character and quality – “to be savoured, whatever the weather”.

Wedderwill are serious about their responsibility to the environment and through their organic approach to winemaking are not only producing a wonderful product but also treading lightly on the earth.

Named for their ideal serving temperatures respectively, the new 12ºC and 17ºC wines boast labels designed by Craig and Giuliana Cockcroft of Jack Russell Design which reflect the ethos of the farm.A single, wrap around die-cut that is artistically printed and inspired by synoptic charts echoes the organic nature of the wines themselves.
