London-based director Thomas Harnett O’Meara has created a short stop-motion animation celebrating the David Hockney exhibition at Tate Britain.

The 40-second clip was commissioned by the gallery to promote the show, which features a large selection of David’s work, including painting, drawing, print, video and photography, across six decades.

Thomas uses David’s dreamlike colour palette and world-famous iconography, bringing them to life with moving paper and paint.

This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition includes unseen works and runs until 29 May 2017. For more information, visit tate.org.uk.
