Best known for his over-the-top, toreado-inspired couture gowns, French designer Christian Lacroix is now working his magic with interior textiles.
Home Fabrics launched the Designers Guild range of Christian Lacroix fabrics in Johannesburg on Wednesday. Look out for dramatic monochrome prints and stripes, with flashes of red and gold in velvet.
The spectacular Forum panel shows a 19th century engraving of the Arles monument now emblematic of the House of Lacroix. Of course, Lacroix has never been able to resist bright colours, luxurious fabrics and a flamboyant clash of textures, prints and florals.
The Lacroix range of fabrics and wallpapers is sheer couture luxury for the home.
