Country Road has joined forces with textile mill St Albans in a new cosy collaboration of scarves and throws just in time for winter.

The luxury range features a luscious blend of alpaca, wool and nylon oversized scarves and comfy throws perfect for beds and couches. The partnership between the two heritage brands showcases a celebration of fine textiles, local flair and bespoke craftsmanship. Now, working from the Eastern Cape, St Albans has produced and manufactured its renowned textiles globally since 1951. The range, now available exclusively from Country Road, is a testament to the quality and excellence of South African textiles in the international design community. 

Timeless while being unique, the collection features earthy tones, blue hues, peach pinks and forest greens in a bold check pattern. “By partnering with specialist textile mills such as St Albans,” says the team at Country Road, “we are able to honour decades of expertise and craft and translate that story. A third-generation mill, St Albans is renowned for producing beautiful alpaca-wool textiles and manufactures locally in South Africa. We know our customers love to support local initiatives, so this partnership really was a natural fit for both brands.”
