Cool Spaces: Dyce

FormRoom, who are known for creating some seriously Instagram-worthy spaces, are the masterminds behind Dyce, a dreamy dessert bar in London.

The fantastical interior invites guests to step into an interactive social media-filtered world. FormRoom took inspiration from Dyce’s three brand pillars: approachable, unexpected and immersive.

Drawing on Salvador Dalí surrealism, the pastel wonderland features playful elements that reference melting ice cream, interpreted in the curved floor artwork to mimic the ripples, and bubble tea-inspired cocoon chairs.

Mirrors and mood lighting seal the selfie-snapping deal. Concave and convex iridescent mirrors are suspended from the ceiling and affixed to one wall, reflecting and distorting the space, which is bathed in a warm, candy-coloured neon glow.

As with the decor, the dessert-focused menu caters to a millennial audience with its broad, customisable range of options, including vegan and gluten-free alternatives.

Find Dyce at 27 James St, Marylebone, London, and on Instagram (@dyceldn).
