Every year, we look forward to the Design Indaba Emerging Creatives programme, which showcases 40 young creatives across diverse design and architectural disciplines.

One of the creatives who caught our eye this year is Megan Smith, a qualified textile designer who’s started her own studio, Cloth and Print.

The Cape Town-based designer prides herself on original design work, which she then screen prints by hand onto 100% locally sourced natural cotton and linens.

Her range of printed textiles is available across a number of products, including tote bags, cushions, iPad pouches and purses.
