Every year, Design Indaba, in association with the Department of Arts and Culture, chooses a range of up-and-coming creatives from across the country to form part of its Emerging Creatives programme.
From fashion and jewellery design to illustrators, furniture makers, architects and artists, the Design Indaba Emerging Creatives programme promotes and supports young talent.
This year, 60 creatives will be chosen, 40 of which will showcase their work at the Design Indaba Festival, taking place in Cape Town from 21 to 23 February 2018. The remaining 20 will exhibit their work in satellite exhibitions in their home cities.
Emerging Creatives applications are now open – and will close on 15 November 2018.
