This 10-day event is directed at strengthening and increasing the visibility of the visual art industry in Cape Town.
From 26 November to 6 December 2014, ART WEEK CAPE TOWN gets the public to partake in a variety of openings, exhibitions and events at participating galleries, institutions and artist studios.
A few of the exciting events on the programme include:
- Unrest by Hasan and Husain Essop at the Iziko SANG
- The Michaelis Graduate Exhibition on Hiddingh Campus
- Ruth Prowse School of Art Graduate Show
- Southern Guild Gallery launch
- Open Studios
- Atang Tshikare exhibition at Worldart
- Khanyisile Mbongwa, Thando Doni and Buhlebezwe Siwani’s video exhibition at Gugu S’thebe Art Centre
