Inspired by historical botanical prints, Minneapolis-based artist Ann Wood creates delicate floral paper artworks by hand.
Ann forms part of creative duo Woodlucker, which was founded 30 years ago together with Dean Lucker.
Making use of embroidery scissors and a combination of paper and wire, Ann’s fine cuts turn ordinary sheets of paper into flowers, feathers and butterfly wings, before being sewn and mounted onto a wool or velvet backing.
