New summer menu at Upper Eastside Hotel

Woodstock’s four star Upper Eastside Hotel has a new seasonal summer menu that is as colourful and multifarious as the vibrant suburb in which it’s located.

Simon Kemp, executive chef of Liberty’s (the hotel’s restaurant) has created nineteen new dishes to add to the already delectable and diverse menu. With an emphasis on freshness, colour and taste, Simon – who is well known for his professional creativity and attention to detail – has drawn inspiration from Japanese, Chinese and Portuguese cuisine. International and local guests have been taken into consideration, and Simon feels the menu is a recipe for success.

“Our aim for Liberty’s has always been to provide our guests with food that is of a high standard but good value, in a relaxed and friendly environment – and this menu is no exception.”

Lip-smacking offerings like their teriyaki salmon, maple roasted venison, soft buffalo mozzarella, and grilled mushrooms on white truffle and pine nut mash give visitors and locals alike one more reason to hang out in Woodstock. Sweet treats such as their chocolate nemesis (a flourless, 70% dark chocolate cake) and silky smooth lemon tart with citrus salsa are sure to seal the deal.

Liberty’s at the Upper Eastside Hotel is a choice pick for business meetings or an unforgettable meal with family and friends. They are open for buffet breakfast and á la carte lunch and dinner from Monday to Sunday. Their eStreet Bar and Lounge is also open for cocktails, drinks and nibbles.
