What do the MTV New York studio, the Skype offices, Microsoft in Hong Kong and BMW in Belgium have in common? They have all been furnished with items from Swedish design house Offecct. VISI would like to join the ranks starting with the company’s latest offering, the Green Divider.
The green design, which is the result of a collaboration between Offecct and Swedish designer Louise Hederström, was created to incorporate greenery into office environments and open up spaces. Flexible in design, the Green Divider looks great alone or bunched in formations and although we think it looks best with smaller plants creeping up it, the steel graphic also works well with no greenery at all.
“I like working graphically and to create expressions in a room,” says Louise. “I am very satisfied with the design of the product which allows bigger plants to climb, but the divider itself creates a connection to plants with their form too.”
The Green Divider forms part of Offecct’s O2ASIS concept which see’s the merge of design, plants and flowers to bring value into interiors.
