Maison & Objet Paris 2014

This week, those lucky enough to have booked tickets, will be headed to Paris for the international Maison & Objet fair.

It is easily considered one of the world’s key design fairs. The highly influential web magazine Design Boom named it one of the three most important European events for interior design. In fact, it has grown so large that Paris Design Week is now organised around M&O, so that they run concurrently.

The bi-annual fair will run again from this coming Friday the 5th of September until Tuesday the 9th of September 2014.  It will be held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. Those who are attending can expect to see all things decor, product design, furniture and trends related, from exhibitors who come from countries right across Europe, including Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands and more.

However, it’s not just European countries on show. Japan, Taiwan, the USA, South Africa and many more countries will present their wares. Most importantly however, our deputy editor Annemarie Meintjes is headed to Paris this week to attend the fair, where she’ll be keeping us in the loop about the latest, trendiest finds in the design world. Stay tuned to the website and make sure to get your copy of VISI to keep up.
