PROMOTION
As one of a handful of importers of luxury decor in Cape Town, Crema Design is proud to represent some of the world’s best brands, including Tom Dixon, Foscarini, Moooi, Vitra and Stua.
Trading since 2004, the Crema Design collection has grown steadily over the years and the team now work with much of South Africa’s design community to deliver high-end residential and commercial projects nationwide. The Green Point showroom (recently refreshed to include a Tom Dixon Shop-in-Shop) also displays the bestsellers and is open to public trade.
“Quirky collectables” is what Crema Design’s owner, Craig Raeside, describes the range as. “We trawl through the Milan exhibition each year looking for the very best, and leave most years with no new brands – safe in the knowledge that what we have is as good as it gets. Having said that, we have recently added the Danish brand Gubi and London’s Lee Broom to the collection.”
Crema Design’s mission is to make its international brands as popular in South Africa as they are abroad. “Buying trends are changing from a throw-away culture where we redecorate every few years to one based more on collecting classic pieces of value that you’ll keep forever. If only the exchange rate would play ball!”
The collection includes:
