International design brand Dauphin is extending their range to include home furniture. Best known in South Africa for their contemporary office furniture, the recently launched Dauphin HOME sees the brand’s contemporary style spicing up the modern home too.
Recognised for their ergonomic and fashionable designs, Dauphin’s new ranges take modern living and aesthetics into account with complementary furniture items that make singular style statements and leave lasting impressions.
“The new Dauphin HOME collection reflects the brand’s penchant for sleek and considered design and features a selection of wood, high gloss, colour and metal finishes – the perfect complement to the contemporary home,” says Debbie Arnoldi-Radford, MD of the Dauphin HumanDesign Group. “The eye-catching new furniture range features a series of elegant offerings, from occasional chairs to on-trend tables and modular living room furniture solutions.”
One of the stars of this groundbreaking new collection is the Little Perillo designed by leading German product designer Martin Ballendat. With undulating Sci-Fi lines the chair is made from one continuous sheet of material. The Little Perillo caused quite a fuss overseas, winning a prestigious Red Dot Award, catapulting it into the spotlight with other leading designs of the times.
Light and easy to move, the Little Perillo is perfect for indoors or out. This chair is manufactured using the latest one-step in-moulding technology and is made of polyurethane. The result is a hardwearing chair that is a certain design classic in the making. The starting price is R3 200.
