Dark Horse was born from a passion for design and a need for furniture that would not be too expensive, but which would still satisfy the owner’s refined taste. Owner and designer Lise du Plessis has travelled and researched extensively, and has used this experience to cultivate a catalogue that manages to take the best ingredients from all design approaches. With limited space in her own Cape Town apartment, it was necessary for Lise to design furniture with more versatility than the average offerings but which still maintained a beautiful appearance.

Products such as the segment table are adaptable in use: tray inlays create the table interior, providing an interesting functionality. The Weekender Postman is the perfect companion for a business trip or a getaway in style, made with love from hemp and leather.
