Amanda du Plessis of Evolution has released a new range called Desert Diaries, inspired by stories and images that she unearthed at the Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town. Amanda has reworked the images, creating nostalgic printed and knitted throws and cushions. 

Evolution’s salvaged school chairs, which earned Amanda and artist Elizabeth Pulles a spot as finalists in this year’s Absolut VISI Designer of the Year Awards, are now available at the US-based speciality store, Anthropologie.
