Launched in 2013, Open Studios continues to be one of the Mother City’s most-loved design events, giving the public the opportunity to explore and engage with the city’s creative professionals and design enthusiasts for free. This year, with over 30 studios opening across two nights, Open Studios will spread across five neighbourhoods, grouped into walkable clusters, with visitors encouraged to explore the route on foot or bicycle – though some locations may require a short drive.
What to expect
The programme is divided across two evenings:
- 14 October: Twenty-one studios spread across the city clusters of De Waterkant, CBD and Gardens.
- 15 October: Ten studios in the creative districts of Woodstock, Salt River and Observatory.
