The Project Space has launched a Womxn Artists Relief Fund, providing financial aid for local womxn artists facing challenges due to the global pandemic.

The Project Space, founded in 2016 by the late Uganda-born artist Benon Lutaaya, focuses on the advancement of contemporary African art while standing as a platform to create opportunity and interaction for African artists – with a strong emphasis on womxn in this field.

The project aims to raise R100 000, which will aid 20 artists and the organisation, with proceeds split 50/50. When donating R100 or more, you will receive a limited-edition print of one of the artworks featured below.
