Directed by Barbara Anastacio for NOWNESS, this clip takes you through the New York home of musician Stephin Merritt, frontman of indie pop band The Magnetic Fields.
“I have a pretty eclectic sense of decor,” says Stephin, who lives by the William Morris motto to only have items in your home that are either functional or beautiful.
Most of the rooms are packed with books, magazines, musical instruments, records and toys. Having moved around a lot as a child, Stephin is just happy to finally have a house that he can “fill with stuff”.
